Most home-energy content in the UK is either a sales funnel for a specific installer, or thin SEO content written to rank rather than inform. Energy Stack exists to be the resource we wished we had read first when we were navigating these decisions ourselves.

We do not take affiliate commissions. We do not have a referral programme. We do not accept sponsorship in exchange for placement in our recommendations. We are funded as a personal project, and if that ever changes we will disclose it clearly here.

What we cover

Four pillars of a modern UK home: solar generation, battery storage, EV charging and heat pumps. We treat tariffs and energy suppliers as the layer that connects them, rather than as a separate topic with its own commercial pull.

How we write

UK English. Long sentences when they earn it, short ones when they do not. We change our mind in public and update our pieces when the evidence moves. Recommendations come with a date and a version history.
